The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring even on tiny screens. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for very long. She soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, as well as independent films and commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for acting. Following her move into New York, in 2001 she got her first role as an actor for the television show All My Children. Through the first half of the 2000s, she appeared in small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the delight of working with amazing TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her role as a character, and among them was Best Supporting Actress in Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding Performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. The show was ended after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister Cory has a ten year old brother who is younger than her. Her family was an orthodox, religious family. Milano's career began at age seven as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Her audition was in the top 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of only four girls. Milano was featured in TV commercials and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
